The White Mountain Country Club Golf Course

From a club member’s perspective, the White Mountain Country Club golf course makes living in our community seem like paradise. The course layout serves golfers of all abilities. Both fun and challenging, the 18-hole course features 6,523 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72, as rated by golflink.com.

The course rating is 68.0, with a slope rating of 122. Designed by Milton Coggins and Grey Madison (ASGCA—American Society of Golf Course Architects), the White Mountain golf course opened in 1955. (See A Brief History of the White Mountain Summer Homes for more detail.)

Scenic features include a thick pine forest lining every fairway; rolling hills; rugged outcroppings of lava and malapai rock; and spectacular views of the largest Ponderosa pine forest in North America. The course itself has bent grass greens, creeping bent fairways, and bluegrass/rye roughs.

Best of all, there is no out of bounds on the golf course. If you can find it, you can hit it!
